Use non-acidic cleaners when cleaning your stone flooring.

Remove dirt from the floor by regularly cleaning with a soft dust mop; try to avoid vacuuming the floor.

About once a week, wet mop the stone flooring using a stone soap.

Never use a chemical product to produce a shine on the stone.

It should also be wet mopped every so often using a neutral soap solution, stone soap being the best.
