Columbus Commons Mall Indoor Playground Columbus, Indiana

Imagine installing carpet inside a child sized tunnel in a playground….now that’s a challenge.

Columbus, Ohio is home to an extensive indoor playground complete with hills and valleys, sunken seating areas, tunnels and indoor climbing equipment. And, it needed to be recarpeted over an existing high density cushioned pad.

Special consideration was given to the carpet. It had to be the color of grass yet not produce rug burns for the many children slipping and sliding down the grassy slopes. And the installation….well it was like upholstering one enormous area with carpet, hardly a product that bends and curves like a fabric.

Thanks to one of our knowledgeable sales estimators and some of our very experienced carpet installation technicians the Columbus Commons Mall Playground is a favorite destination for the younger set.
