Union Construction Helper

Indianapolis contractor seeking Constructions Helpers. Be part of a great team with opportunities for advancement!  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 months construction experience, be able to work with power tools and have basic knowledge of the construction trade.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitiously, work in all weather conditions, at heights off of scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts.  Candidates need to have reliable transportation.  Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and criminal history background check.  Must have a positive attitude.  Will be expected to work well with others and follow instructions from supervisors.  Wages are very competitive and dependent on experience.  Full benefits – 401(k) No walk ins or phone calls please.

Required Physical Abilities:

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, climb, use stairs and move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis
Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper
Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
